Hors d’oeuvres – Guests eat when they want
Our hors d’oeuvre menus range from light fare to those which equate to dinner. They are designed to be easily eaten so your guests can relax and mingle. The menus can be a combination of butlered or stationary items, and often include cooking stations to deliver a wide variety of interesting foods. Since these menus do not require a knife, there is no need to seat your entire guest count. We usually recommend seating for one half.
Dinner Buffet – Guests all eat at the same time
Buffets are designed for self-service and usually include two entrees, a starch, vegetables, bread, and dessert. Since these menus generally require a knife and fork, we suggest seating for your full guest count. Butlered hors d’oeuvres can be a nice addition to your pre-buffet cocktail hour.
Plated – One to three courses served to guests at a specific time
Our plated menus consist of multiple courses that are artfully presented and served to your entire guest count while seated. Passed hors d’oeuvres are a nice complement to your pre-dinner cocktail hour.
Family Style
These are similar to a buffet menu in that they usually include 2 entrees, a starch, vegetables, and a dessert. The difference is the food is all brought individually to the table on platters for self- service by the guests. These menus generally require extensive staff and rentals.
Cooking Stations
Stations can be a fun addition to a buffet or hors d’oeuvres menu. These stations may be attended by a chef or set up as a self-serve presentation.
